Well, here we are, June 23rd already, and I haven’t been able to finish, let alone get much knitting done, on the many socks I am hoping to make over the summer. Okay, I know that it is  really only the beginning of summer, with folks having just had their summer solstice parties over the weekend and all….But, I really have been slow with the sock production lately.

This is one pair on my needles now:

So, just where does the time go? For one, I’ve been very busy in the garden, with some things starting to show for the effort:And, then, there was getting a gift made for father’s day:

Then, there was helping my son secure a student loan for his offer to medical school and re-mortgaging the office building at work!

I seriously need to get down to some intense sock knitting if this is going to be the summer of socks..I’ll have to wait and see….

Finally got Erwin’s fourth pair done. These were knit with Regia Strata - Very nice robust yarn! The strands are a little thicker than the usual Regia and Opal that I have used - so it makes a nice, ever so slightly thicker sock. Needles used: Knitpicks Harmony 2.5 mm.
